Description

The numberCellsToRenderDirectly affects how many execute time records were shown after reopening notebook,
as described here deshaw/jupyterlab-execute-time#61.

This may be related to #12166 which has an open pull request #12258. The issue and this PR do not explicitly mention execute time records, but this should be tested as a use case.
