App not responding after left open for 1 day without activity

Description

Opening Jupyterlab desktop, doing some work, leaving open over night. Next day the menus can be opened but don't work e.g. changing the theme (via menu) does nothing. Also none of the cells evaluate any more, only a star is visible (cell is working). The same in the console. Variable inspector shows variables but clicking on the magnifying glass does nothing.
Would like to add that I had same problems with JupyterLab in Firefox - if left without activity for e.g. 1 day, I'd see something about websockets in the log.

Reproduce

1. Open Jupyterlab desktop
2. create a variable
3. leave Jupyterlab desktop open and go to sleep
4. wake up and see that Jupyterlab dekstop is unresponsive

Expected behavior

Should just work if left unattended.

Context

• Operating System and version: Linux Ubuntu 21.10
• JupyterLab-Desktop version: 3.2.5-2
• Installer: mamba

Can't provide context since opening a terminal inside JupyterLab-Desktop doesn't work (nothing happens).
