Dears, I don't know what's the best/latest/up-to-date/maintained/... version but it would be in the interest of all if the module improvements could be suggested upstream and streamlined inside the official Linux kernel, one day.

Please motivate prominently in the README why this and WCH driver exists. What are the differences with the linux.org version? Why should I use it?

I have this "usb_serial_generic_read_bulk_callback - urb stopped: -32" with stock linux, which might be caused by a too long cable as well. So you need to motivate me to switch to this driver. This would also be required to get it merged upstream with the official linux kernel.
