ybrowserauth is a one-off sample script not subject to revision control, releases, etc. Yahoo's python social sdk supports OAuth and seems like a much better alternative to me:

The part of the code that uses ybrowserauth is being split into its own app. We've currently done most of it as https://github.com/eldarion/django-contacts-import. The split of friends isn't complete yet, but the direction of Yahoo contact import is going to move to OAuth.

I would love to try using this new system, any way to provide some more documentation on how it works or how to get it going with pinax?
