Matlab's File Exchange (FEX) has the ability to automatically integrate Github projects, such that any changes that are made in Github will automatically be updated on FEX on a daily basis. All you need to do is to go to your FEX page (http://mathworks.com/matlabcentral/fileexchange/7401-scalable-vector-graphics--svg--export-of-figures), click the "Update file" link, and point it to the Github page. That's it.
p.s. - I'm linking your utility from export_fig, in case users happen to request SVG output.

hi again - any chance that you might get around to this issue (updating your FEX utility to use your latest code on Github)? I just came across this again and added a related comment on the FEX page and here where I had to warn users to download from Github rather than FEX - if you simply let FEX point to this Github project then it will be much better...
