Slow performance on Raspberry Pi while having background image. #169

When changing the background image on a Raspberry Pi, the version using the ISO, the FPS drops to about 10 - 15 FPS.

I have the same issue on my Lenovo Miix520 with 2.8Ghz CPU 8Gb Ram and USB3 NVME drive..
before background image I get over 60fps, with background image it is down to 45fps with sluggish mouse and delay on menu/app loading
