Hide Completed Tasks

i am not sure but when i click today button , there is so much completed tasks , so it's looks it's make app slower , i wonder is there any way to hide completed tasks ?

Yes! You need to click the "Finish day" button and then click on "Save and Go Home" which moves all completed tasks to the archive from the current list.

Hello! Love the app. I've also been wondering about this. For people that don't need timing, and just a list, with the ability to hide/clear/delete/archive completed tasks, this isn't obvious.

It would be nice for the three-dots menu to show an option to hide/delete tasks. For example here:

It would also appear in the same menus accessible in the sidebar menu's three dots or long press:

Maybe there should be a way to both hide, and delete, completed tasks. For example @Evynly down below would want to hit "delete completed tasks" instead of "hide completed tasks".

There could also be a way to multi-select tasks, then we'd be able to hide/delete/etc chosen tasks. For example, right now on mobile, tapping on the dragging handle here,

doesn't do anything but what it could do is turn in check boxes, so that tapping on tasks will allow selecting them. Then the three dots menu could show options for the selection.

If can find some time I'll have a go at it.

Btw how do we see and delete hidden tasks after "Save and go home"?

@johannesjo That removes the completed tasks from the today screen, but what removes them from the Take a moment to celebrate! screen? As that gets longer and longer I have to scroll quite a ways to get down to the Save and Go Home button at the bottom. Is there a way to show that button at the top of the list and/or clear that list of completed tasks?

That screen will always show all tasks that have been worked or created on that day, unless they have been deleted.

I normally complete 30-40 tasks per day, but every day there are roughly 120-130 tasks shown on that page, many of which were completed days or weeks ago. Here's a screenshot (I added text in blue indicating when some of these tasks were completed):

That's a lot of tasks :) Not sure if it is helpful but as an alternative you could also use the finish day screen only for a project at a time.
