Could we consider adding a text-to-speech feature in the reading pane and make this amazing plugin work for Android users too? Thanks!

Those two are not related to this issue.
The plugin also works in reading mode, please create a feature request with what you mean exactly.
Android is not up to me, please read the link in the README.

The plugin also works in reading mode

Current Behavior:
TTS is available in reading mode but only for the entire document. Selecting specific text for TTS requires switching to editor mode and then back to reading mode.

Requested Behavior:
Introduce a context menu in reading mode with options for 'Speak selected text' and 'Speak from here'.
