read from pdf

I am using
https://github.com/elias-sundqvist/obsidian-annotator

this extension allows me to study pdfs in Obsidian. But it is not a markdown file.
Since pdfs are so popular and kind of "digital books" I would like to hear selected text in pdfs, if they contain text, of course.
This command would need a timeout to find out if the user is still selecting some text, eventually ignoring the last read selection, so we do not have to listen to repetitions
