While this is intended to be a lightweight command line software, supporting basic information being piped out to display would be a boon to letting this run in the background.

Information that should be piped out:

  1. currently playing media
  2. duration
  3. panics or errors that cause problems

#11 and this should operate off the same methods for retrieving data.
