SYMPTOMS
========

When you use the COPY command from a command prompt to copy a file, if the file
already exists, you are not prompted to verify overwriting the existing file.

RESOLUTION
==========

To work around this behavior, ensure that the file you are copying does not
already exist at the target location.

Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
