This is intended so that user can select the bookmark faster via filtering. But the filter mode was off then it should be automatically turned off again afterwards.
These are not intended and I cannot reproduce it either. Are you sure you're not accidentally activating it somehow? E.g pressing |

Just chiming in quickly to mention that I also have observed what OP is describing, sometimes, but since years. I haven't clearly identified how to reproduce it, nor did I spend time on it trying, which is why I never reported it. I'll be following this issue though to see if someone finds something interesting.

… No `Ctrl+N`. I'll record the screen if I confront the situation again.
I'm a dvorak user for English and I'm Korean, so I use Korean keyboard with FCITX. Maybe there is a curprit among these.

Sometimes, and very frequently, 'filter' is turned on. (filter has to be turned on by
/
key, but turning on automatically.)For example, when I press
b
(Select Bookmark), filter(/) is on. I'm not sure this is intended behaviour.Even when I press 1,2,3 and 4, filter is on.
Navigating DIRs with arrow keys makes a filter on.
Not always, sometimes, but not rare.. I could not find what triggers this.
I'm on Archlinux with KDE, using WezTerm.
I also use kmonad.
I run nnn by
n -drUa -T v
This is very annoying. Can anyone give me a clue?
