(not an issue, more informative) - does not get mtp working in windows 10N

Just letting anyone know whos looking at this hoping it will get mtp working in the N editions of Windows 10; it does not.

Microsoft has intentionally left out critical files from Windows 10 N to that something as basic as moving files across to a smartphone connected by usb does not work. Just installing the mtp drivers does not work, it requires more than this which seems to only come in the media feature pack which when installed defeats the purpose of having the N edition of windows 10 - all just to copy files to and from a smartphone. Thanks microsoft!!

Did you install the WinUSB driver using Zadig ?

mtp-tools uses libusb wrapper (via WinUSB driver) to directly talk to USB endpoints.
So no Windows Media feature pack should be required to run these tools !
