Deliverables for September meeting

  • Survey of existing metadata workflows and tools/scripts currently being used, preparation needs. Work on the form is happening here, with goal of sending out for results at end of August: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1p2wpv_ipamoIsxQnpirDuo7hP86zUiZ3nPg-KhgQbhk/edit?usp=sharing
  • Collect and create use cases to help determine how to handle descriptive/other metadata going into Islandora and the various solution packs, along with clearer documentation, recommendations and crosswalks from certain tools to Islandora ingest. These use cases should be put in the appropriate section below, until we determine we should move to new page or to this repo's issues area.
  • Pull together a list of tools, along with existing documentation and best practices that could help with metadata work. This work should be put in the appropriate section below.
