Regards, @ErinOCon I hope you are well and in good spirits as you read this message. I'm writing to query about the status of the grant proposal we submitted to your esteemed organization earlier. If there are any additional requirements or information necessary to facilitate the evaluation procedure, please inform us. We are more than willing to provide any necessary documentation or resolve any arising concerns. We greatly appreciate the opportunity to work with your organization and look forward to hearing from you soon. We appreciate your consideration and time. |
HI @mendsalbert, thank you for your proposal and for being in touch regarding its status. We are nearing the end of our review for this round of microgrants and expect to have more information available soon. If we have any questions, we will be in touch! |
HI @ErinOCon , I hope this email finds you well. I am reaching out to inquire if there are any updates regarding our previous communication. We would greatly appreciate hearing from you with any new information or developments. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Best regards |
Hi @mendsalbert, thanks for applying! Unfortunately this project does not leverage what’s unique to Filecoin’s new EVM enough for an FVM Microgrant. There is also not much of a milestone-based technical roadmap discussed in your proposal. Here are some things we’d like to see:
|
1. What is your project? (max 100 words)
Imagine that there is a platform where you can champion an action, solicit funds and undertake actions to help reduce carbon footprints in a particular society. Well that's exactly what Sustain is for, making sure individuals can undertake actions to help save our world. While others contribute funds to an action, they will be able to know the amount of carbon they are offsetting in that locality the action will be taken in.
With Sustain:
Please note: add XDC testnet to metamask to be able to perform an activity on the platform.
All media are stored on IPFS.

2. How will IPFS, Filecoin, or related technology be used for this project? (max 100 words)
we stored the project metadata, such as name, country, description, latitude, longitude, target carbon offset, and image content on FVM. The FVM storage solution assure data availability, redundancy, and resilience while reducing our dependence on centralized storage providers.
3. How will you improve your project with this grant? What steps will you take to meet this objective? (max 200 words)
We intend to take this project to the public domain to serve it's purpose in the next 2 months. We are looking for possible ways we can verify the credibility of sustainable actors.
4. Is this project open source?
yes
5. Do you agree to share grant reports upon request, including a final grant report at the end of the three month period?
yes
6. Does your proposal comply with our Community Code of Conduct?
yes
