Problem

Despite having the modern nasm, autotools build fails when AS environment variable is set. Build using plane make works fine.
I figured out that

isa-l_crypto/configure.ac

Line 220 in aea7bea

AC_LANG_CONFTEST([AC_LANG_SOURCE([[vpcompressb zmm0, k1, zmm1;]])])

is not a valid format.

The correct one is at

isa-l_crypto/configure.ac

Line 173 in aea7bea

AC_LANG_CONFTEST([AC_LANG_SOURCE([[vpcompressb zmm0 {k1}, zmm1;]])])
