Discuss the ability to observe or report the effects of greasing #21

Greasing is a good tool, but if breakages occur due to endpoints or middleboxes failing with greased values, it should be possible to observe or report the failures. Otherwise, the effect of greasing can be lost (since a few random failures might be ignored if not being looked at).

If there is a problem detected with greasing certain aspects, endpoints may choose to stop greasing to avoid the bad failure mode — but in that case there should be some reporting or way to mitigate the behaviors.

One thing that can be done also is to reduce a type of greasing or variability to probes instead of necessary connections...
