to allow free-form autocomplete, we need access to the input's value

@rpflorence although it's not documented, using inputValue on the ic-autocomplete component seems to work:

  inputValue=topic

  on-input="filterSearch"

  on-select="selectSearch"

  placeholder=label

}}
