Description

It would be nice to be able to select a partner and have their images show as part of the timeline if no specific album, person etc is selected.

Use Case

A husband and wife take many photos of their family, both have separate immich accounts. While they could make an album this then would have to contain every single image on the server if frame was to display the complete collection and would require daily updates to add new images.

So two seperate APi keys/accounts? I'm not too sure about this, seems like something that would be better handled in Immich itself. Is it possible to add an external library from one of your accounts to the other?

Hey, I'm in the process of setting up a frame client myself (parts should arrive tomorrow).

But the web-part is already running.
We too got 2 Accounts (partner and I) and I simply created a new account in immich (called Frame), which I enabled partner sharing to.
So now all images taken by us two are automatically shared with this Frame account and therefore are available on my frame.

By doing this, we're also able to create albums only available to the frame and both can edit / create them, since we both have the login credentials for the Frame account.

Hope this helps. :)

Great idea. Thanks for sharing! @trekimann, would this do it for you? If so please close issue.
