I am probably experiencing the same issue.
openfire is 4.7.4 on ubuntu linux 20.04 LTS.
created user jvb and focus in ad, stored the passwords in pade -> jitsi -> settings -> Security.
Made focus and jvb user admin: groupchat -> groupchat settings -> subdomain conference -> administrators.
Password policy is set to "administrators can join rooms without providing a password".

There is no room ofmeet.
There is no connection from focus OR jvb user.
Same error when i try: "something went wrong"
Pade summary shows both components with an red x: "Jitsi VideoBridge (Jvb)" and "Jitsi Colibri Focus (Jicofo)"

I may assist to trace down this issue because I'm also using LDAP.

But you both should also provide us fresh rotated logs containing the complete startup of OpenFire on debug log level. Thank you

Here is a potential solution.
Use 'Java -version' on your server.
If you are using Java8, change it to Java 11 with OpenJDK. And retry it.
I hope this can help others.
