Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

The fact that the playback options, progressions bar and video title stay on screen during a paused video and when moving the mouse once during the video disrupts the viewing experience. What would make this beautiful player perfect is if it would copy VLC in that regard: after moving the mouse during video, if the mouse stops moving, the video title, playback options and progressions bar hide themselves after about 1 second. Also if the video is paused, nothing stays on screen except a very quick appearance for 0,5 second of the "pause" symbol. Of course the best would be a setting option to chose the times one want for our selves. This way the focus is on the video, nothing of the viewing experience gets disrupted and if one pauses the video nothing stays on screen, which ensures a clear view on the video if one want to for example look at a beautiful frame without any UI elements.

Then the other thing are color options for the progress bar and audio bar, which are now in purple. I would really like to choose my own preferred color. Also the icons for minimizing immersive view and the playlist to the left side of the title in the upper left corner, I would like to be able to hide them as well if I want so only the title is showing at the top in the UI.

With these small changes the player would be pretty much perfect and leagues above all other video players.

This is already how it currently works.

There is a setting for it: Display controls on pause, I'll admit the setting name could be improved.

Then the other thing are color options for the progress bar and audio bar, which are now in purple. I would really like to choose my own preferred color.

The color comes from the system accent color, which can be customized.

Also the icons for minimizing immersive view and the playlist to the left side of the title in the upper left corner, I would like to be able to hide them as well if I want so only the title is showing at the top in the UI.

How would one access those options?

Thanks, this already solved some of the questions I had.

For the color, I would like to have this very punchy red like YT has. The Windows 11 red, even the most punchy one, is pretty pale in comparison. For the title and symbols, I can imagine them being turned on or off by a button with a right-click. I could right click, click on a setting like "hide playlist and minimize immersive view buttons". Also below the video title I see the full title including the file ending, which is less clean than only the video title up there. I don't need the same information twice or, I would just like the option to hide it to only have the title up there, without the file ending alternative, immersive view arrow icon and playlist icon. In VLC you can for example turn off the upper toolbar with all those settings and buttons. Lastly, I would like to be able to half the time it takes for the UI elements to hide when I don't move the mouse. In VLC, it actually takes less than a second. In Screenbox it takes about 2 seconds. Other than those things it's how I wish the ideal player to be, basically just a few more options.

Colors need to meet a contrast requirement, which is why some colors may appear paler than you'd like.

That doesn't solve the issue of how would you access those options? The player design is based on the YouTube player, where the play queue button cannot be hidden and we require a button to exit that view.

Also below the video title I see the full title including the file ending, which is less clean than only the video title up there. I don't need the same information twice or, I would just like the option to hide it to only have the title up there, without the file ending alternative

I agree that the title should be restricted to one line. It's not necessarily true that it's the same information twice, this only occurs in some specific scenarios.

Lastly, I would like to be able to half the time it takes for the UI elements to hide when I don't move the mouse.

In the future this might be configurable, but we need to be cautious as we must consider other inputs.
