As titled, I want to ask if there are plans for WebDAV integration in the future. Some storages, like the open-source project Alist, only support WebDAV. Although I can use Rclone to mount it locally, it sometimes causes issues. Therefore, I would like to know if there are plans for native support in the future.

I received quite a few requests about WebDAV. I haven't used WebDAV, so I can't imagine what a WebDAV integration would look like. Can you describe how you use WebDAV and how other programs behave with it?

1.When playing videos through an HTTP link, playback stops and cannot resume after being paused for more than a minute (possibly shorter). I have confirmed that the link has not expired, as it plays normally in VLC at this time.

2.After adding a WebDAV path using Windows "Map Network Drive," Screenbox fails to correctly obtain the file path, resulting in playback failure.

These issues severely impact the user experience when trying to play network videos with Screenbox. It is recommended to add native WebDAV support and address the existing problems.

To facilitate reproduction and diagnosis of these issues, I can provide a temporary link for testing purposes and am happy to offer any additional information or steps required.

Additionally, players like Infuse (Apple ecosystem) and PotPlayer (Windows platform) deliver a smooth user experience thanks to their robust WebDAV integration, highlighting the importance of this feature.

Thank you for developing such a beautiful and feature-rich application. We look forward to improvements in future versions.

So, do I need to provide a link for you to reproduce the issue now?

If it's not too much of a trouble to get a temporary link. I just got alist working so I will try to play with it myself.

@Marrrrrrrrry Your WebDav link still asks for username and password

I don't know. I reviewed it again, and it doesn't ask for an account or password. Could you provide a screenshot to help me pinpoint the issue

I will be shutting down the server used for testing in two days, please reply to this message if you have any testing needs

Thank you for letting me know. I got the basics of WebDAV now. I will set up my own WebDAV server when I need further testing.
