Is there any in-depth explanation of what kind of the separation and what it brings to the people using the app? Some kind of article or any other content digging in would be great and useful

Yes, seems like we need to add some docs.

But short story: Slow is what do you want to read now and Fast is what do you want to avoid. We recommend to put to Slow deep, long, meaningful content, and to Fast “fadt food” which creates emotions and addiction.
