Have a look at MQTT as an example how multiple components can be linked.

Without that there's no real point in having this page.

Do you mean like the linked platforms from "Related Components" section of MQTT?
If that's the case, I have 2 new platforms(switch and binary_sensor) prepared that will use this component and will be listed in "Related Components" but I think I should be adding those separately with 2 new pull requests if I follow the rule to "Submit your improvements, fixes, and new features to Home Assistant one at a time" from Submit Your Work
