Adding such options to persistent notifications is something that should be added to the persistent notification backend first. |

I do like this idea of severity. @victorcerutti might want to open a backend issue for that part of this and take a stab at it if you're up for it 😄 |

Severity is a nice addition, but I have an idea for an epic addition. (Just an idea, got no time) The idea is to add actions to persistent notifications that can callback to the code that created it. For example: "You left the garage door open" will have actions "Close Garage Door" and "Dismiss". Then as added bonus, we could update Home Assistant automations and scripts to block execution until a user has confirmed a step. Can get us automations like this:
Bonus points for notifications that are bound to specific users. |

I like that. iOS already has some code in place for actionable notifications, so expanding that to cover persistent_notification as well would be awesome. |

Telegram as well. That would be great for the web too |

I really like this idea and think that's a beautiful mockup. The visible parameter would be quite helpful for the "configure" type persistent notifications too, for example when setting up HomeKit with the PIN code and stuff. Those are important notices that you want to show on the frontend, they're a little harder to discover inside the notification bell area. |

I love the actionnable actions capability. |

Just got here looking for a better way to show notifications in a dashboard. No idea why this hasn't been implemented yet, sound really great! :) |

I suggested this card in a forum thread, and it was suggested it would be a great idea for core.

Anyways, some type of Persistent Notification card would be cool. Currently I'm using a combination of the conditional and the custom useful markdown cards to display a persistent notification but this doesn't give me the ability to dismiss the notification.
Maybe an option to always display the card, so it could be like a permanent notification window ( people could create an automation that if there's no current notification then display a random fact or something ). Or hide the card if no notifications are present.
Being able to style the text colour or border or something of the notification would be cool too. So that a notification that is more important could be displayed more prominently.
