Summary

These themes don't have a clear colored indication of the active, selected tab:

  • everblush
  • everforest_dark
  • hex_*
  • mo*okai*
  • noctis_bordo

I'm using monokai_pro_ristretto and when there's multiple tabs open (especially two) I always mistake the inactive tab for the current tab. It's quite confusing to use the background tab color as the selected tab color -- it seems that the active tab is connected to the side of the tab bar and so is inactive. Other themes may not have a highlight at all.

Reproduction Steps

I tried this:

  1. hx
  2. :theme monokai_pro_ristretto
  3. <space>f and open another file

I expected this to happen:

The newly opened file is active and looks distinctive.

Instead, this happened:

The newly opened file is active but blends into the tab bar and the originally opened file looks to be active instead.
