On the front page, instead of "currently: open/closed" it says "currently: Error occurred while fetching status, please refresh." on certain browsers (IE?)

Limitation of the space API, as it does not have JSONP and IE doesn't allow CORS

I'll reopen and assign to me, just in case I'm able to fix the spaceapi or something to support <IE10
