I'm not able to use it in Arc Browser either, which is also Chromium. Not sure if it's for the same reason. |
I think so! they're probably using different API-s for the sidepanel, declarativeNetRequest, etc. Will take a look! |
Is there update on this situation? Is there anything that can be done on the user side as a bandaid fix for now if there is no official fix? |
@HoodBlah it's just a small side project for me, so the development is really slow. I'm working on this in the weekends, and currently preparing v0.0.2 (still for chrome) with bug fixes. If you have some capacity to help out, please try to tinker it locally. A good starting point would be this comment with an initial firefox port: I think the client need a similar configuration changes for Opera, but I'm not familiar with the platform. The current configuration is using chrome's v3 manifest. |
I know its for chrome but I thought it'd work since Opera is a chromium browser. I did the install of the extension, clones the github, used npm like in that tutorial video and it still would not open the side bar.
