A few packages are in Recommends:.

  • Check if they are still necessary
  • Remove them if possible
  • Remove fallback code if possible

It turns out copy_addon_file looks in 1) the chroot, 2) in the fallback path, 3) on the host.

Commits like dca230e together with 1a9a788 seem to say we never want 3.

TBD: ipxe, syslinux/isolinux

Currently only Recommends: imagemagick and Suggests: fai-doc, grml-live-addons are left
