Imaplet api via vchan

Once imaplet makes it into a unikernel, it would be very useful to have access to smtplet/imaplet via vchan in order to undertake various tasks, such as bulk sending of emails, filtering/capturing of incoming emails etc..

I guess there would need to be some sort of GPL linking exception to the api in order to deal with the various transports flowing over vchan.
