The USB/IP protocol is used in a number of locations such as;

USB/IP project itself - http://usbip.sourceforge.net/
Renode - https://renode.readthedocs.io/en/latest/tutorials/usbip.html
Windows Subsystem for Linux - https://github.com/microsoft/WSL
Probably a lot of others too...

Would be awesome to have a backend for this protocol.
