Named Windturbines currently have no rendered name.
Example: https://www.openstreetmap.org/node/5003725018

Perhaps this is a problem with icon collision or an area problem with nodes.

Are there other places where such labels are visible, especially with nodes?

I have not found labeled nodes and areas.

I'm busy with other things right now, but it looks like it should be rendered with all types of power generators, so I would check them too:

[feature = 'power_generator'][is_building = 'no'][zoom >= 10],

I could also export some of wind turbines areas as *.osm file and then forge them by adding names (they can be manipulated with simple text/code editor), import into local database and render with Kosmtik to check if everything really works.

We have no text-dy so i am pretty sure the icon prevents rendering the text.

I'll try to fix this at the same time as adjusting the color of name labels for man_made features

I haven't found many named wind turbines. But yes, the problem is lack of text-dy with the icon.

The two options are to render the name the same as other power generators, with the power color (darkened 40%) and landcover text styles, or to render it like other man_made icons.

  1. Purple landcover-style - I don't think this works well
    wind-turbine-purple

  2. Black text - better
    wind-turbine-black

  3. Dark gray text - best
    wind-turbine-gray

These examples also show the wind turbine icon in man-made-icon gray, instead of black

Some more examples with man-made-icon and text darkened 15%:
