similar to grails/fields#264 (fixed in 2.2.8.BUILD-SNAPSHOT), the display tag f:display does not seem to render transient fields correctly (it throws NPEs) on transient fields.

Is there a workaround for this issue?
I can't get my transient displayed properly in the style of f:all.
