Colab code cell not loading/appearing and not able to enter text in code cell.

The code cells do not appear properly. They appear as small black cells centered in the screen. Not able to put text in the code blocks but can put text in markdown cell. I have tried clearing the cache, reloading page, restarting browser, restarting kernel but nothing seems to work.

Expectation is that the code cell appears full screen and should be able to write text in it.

Using Chrome browser - Version 131.0.6778.205 (Official Build) (x86_64) on Mac OS Monterey Version 12.7.6
