CL 324762 made the gitmirror tests much more rigorous. Unfortunately, they seem to be detecting a problem on the darwin-arm64-11_0-toothrot builder.

Thanks for the heads up.

Annoying. @toothrot, should we reconfigure the builder to have a more typical setup that git can autodetect? Or should I change the tests to configure the username? Or maybe skip them, given that we don't run our infra on macOS?

x/build tests are passing consistently now as far as I see. I believe this has been resolved on the side of the builder (CC @toothrot). @heschi is also taking this into account in #49149.

Ah, yeah. This was fixed by CL 360478; I couldn't find the issue number at the time.
