Maintenance Task Description

This issue is to track the performance benchmarks comparing the existing v2 features against the new v3 features. The objective is to quantify the performance improvements or regressions and to document these findings for inclusion in the v3 release notes.

Tasks

  • Identify key features and performance metrics to benchmark between v2 and v3.
  • Execute the benchmarks, ensuring to keep the tests fair and consistent across both versions.
  • Analyze the benchmark results to identify any significant performance changes.
  • Document the benchmarking process and results in a clear and concise manner.
  • Determine the best way to present this data in the v3 release notes.

Expected Outcome

  • A comprehensive benchmark report highlighting the performance comparisons between v2 and v3 features.
  • Informed decisions on whether to display benchmark data in the release notes based on the significance of the performance findings.
