About the GitHub Scholars Program |

The GitHub Scholars Program focuses on providing selected participants an opportunity to learn how to jump start their career in technology. Some of the opportunities GitHub Scholars experience include:
- Vist a technology company in their area
- Create a GitHub account
- Learn interview skills, create a resume and LinkedIn profile
- Access to a device like a Kano
- Learn coding and Git version controls
- Plan a community improvement project with other Scholars
