Hm yes, the interaction here is not right. One issue is that the quick terminal -- once opened -- is never "closed", so I think confirmation is separate and I agree we should show confirmation, I'll open an issue now. #5450 |

If I have
quit-after-last-window-closed
andconfirm-close-surface
enabled, open a quick terminal, and start, say, Vim, my Vim session is lost with no confirmation if I have no other open Ghostty windows and close the quick terminal.Instead, I’d expect to either get a confirmation dialog asking me if I’m sure I want to terminate that surface, or alternatively I’d expect that Ghostty wouldn’t quit until not only all windows have been closed, but all surfaces – including the non-visible quick terminal surface – have been too.
