Since the GTK4 port:

  1. Select multiple tasks in the Task Browser
  2. Ctrl+T to open the batch tagger
  3. Type "some_new_tag", hit Enter

Result: the newly created tag does not appear in the sidebar until app restart. This is essentially the same issue as #1005, but filing it separately just in case, as it is possibly a different code path.
