When analysing public transport routes I see false positives in the case the route traverses a circular road with tag junction=circular, while OSMI handles correctly highway=roundabout. For instance, relation 8016022, the last circular way is a junction=circular.
In fact there is no reason why junction=roundabout and junction=circular should be treated differently when analyzing routes. The only difference between the two concerns the rule of priority between traffic inside the ring and traffic entering the ring.
