add image collection to map, includes additional optional filters

@aSullivan-geo @KMarkert; would it be possible for you to share examples of image collections we would like to add? Would be visualizing a mosaic of the ImageCollection? Should we impose some constraints on what a user can request (i.e. a limit on the number of images that can be mosaic)?
