Describe the feature you would like to be added.

A method to calculate the direction of each trace could be useful (not fundamental). We can approach this problem in different ways:

  1. Direction given by the line connecting the two end point
  2. Direction given by the mean direction of each segment in a trace
  3. Other ways?
