  • pharokka version:1.7.3
  • Python version:3.10.14
  • Operating System: Debian GNU/Linux 10

Description

I am using pharokka to annotate a GenBank (gbk) file that I have. However, I noticed that the start positions in the annotation results are counted from 0 instead of 1, which is different from the start positions when using a FASTA file with pharokka.

What I Did

I used pharokka on fasta file and according genbank file (I adeed --genbank flag) and got different results.

@konstytucja - I lost this issue in my emails. I will aim to fix this soon (probably too late for you sorry), as I anticipate using the function myself for a large dataset soon.
