Hi There

Im using mummer4's dnadiff to compare two unfinished but highly similar (f0and f1) insect genomes (1.2GB genome both).

The software has been running for 6days (8 cores, 500GB mem, but runs to completion with test bacterial genomes). Is that normal and if it is not what am I doing wrong?

Any response to this? I am having the same problem. My cluster won't let it run over 5 days and it never finishes.
