Installation hangs #171

Installation of the extension seems to hang waiting for MSBuild processes to finish.

The extension is version 0.38.3. I'm using Visual Studio Community 2017 version 15.6.7 on Windows 10.0.16299.371.

clrver gives:

Microsoft (R) .NET CLR Version Tool  Version 4.6.1055.0
Copyright (c) Microsoft Corporation.  All rights reserved.

Versions installed on the machine:
v2.0.50727
v4.0.30319
