Release of the new versions

First of all, I really like the library. It seems to be really well-built.

To the question:

The last stable release was mid last year, but there are other beta releases afterwards.

I wanted to ask:

1. Are those latest releases safe to use in production? and
2. Whether you know roughtly when the next stable version will be release?
