issue with permission of report manager (Report To)

Information about bug

I have an employee who is the manager of other 7 employees (he's employee id is in the Report To field for all 7 employee). Yet, while checking his permissions using Permitted Documents For User or log with User Id I can only see 4 (including himself) OR Other Employee who is not Report To. The other 4 are missing.
As a workaround, I manually remove and re-add him as the Report To for the missing 4 employees. What's weird is after doing that, now he has access to employees who he doesn't manage. Same problem on leave approve, expense Approver.
Please Help Me Frappe Team.

Unable to replicate this. Can you try rebuilding the employee tree from the treeview

@ruchamahabal We encountered a similar issue, and even rebuilding did not resolve it. The only solution that has proven effective is resetting the "Report To" field. Interestingly, this issue tends to recur for the same group of employees. We are currently troubleshooting on our end as well, but we would appreciate it if you could also investigate this matter further.
