List terminal sessions + Change terminal working directory

Is there any way of getting the currently running terminal sessions, after closing/minimizing them?

I am running a process in ~/project.
I open a file in ~/project/app using the Find Files applet.
If I now try to open the terminal again (Ctrl + /), instead of reopening my previous session in the project's root, it opens a new session in the cwd.

Is there any way to keep track of my running sessions and is there a way to change the default behavior of the terminal to always open in Telescope's root?
