@flyingcircusio/release-managers

PL-131515

Release process

Impact: internal only

  • removal of packages and special case handling, these cases are not relevant to the current state of our deployed platform anymore

Changelog:

  • remove support for Ceph Jewel and Luminous
    • remove packages
    • remove role integration
    • remove associated packages of that version (sensu checks, old fc.qemu versions)
    • drop fc-ceph modules for Jewel and Luminous
    • drop Jewel and Luminous tests

Security implications

  • Security requirements defined? (WHERE)
    • removal of deprecated software versions and case distinctions reduces platform complexity
    • automated tests still need to pass
  • Security requirements tested? (EVIDENCE)
    • automated tests still pass

This will very likely conflict with #771 due to removal of package entries in pkgs/fc/default.nix
