What happened:
Error message : Error: authenticating using provider saml: authenticating: Unknown document type

After investigation, error was due to an "@" symbol in password

What did you expect to happen:
For the login to succeed

How to reproduce it:
Try authenticate with an @ in your password

Anything else you would like to add:
Issue was not present in other places with same authentication (aws login page)

Environment:

  • kconnect version (use kconnect version): 0.3.1
  • Kubernetes version (use kubectl version): NA
  • OS (e.g. from /etc/os-release): linux
  • Target environment (e.g. EKS, AKS, Rancher): EKS
  • Authentication Used (e.g. SAML, IAM, Azure AD): SAML + PingNTLM
